• Partner with the NAM HR team to complete a full review of all Canadian HR policies, with the goal of standardizing them while ensuring compliance and clarity for employees • Present policy change recommendations to key stakeholders with clear rationale, risk assessment, and implementation plans • Establish an annual policy review cycle to keep all documentation current and aligned with global standards • Partner with legal to review all Canadian employment templates for alignment with current practices, update templates as required, and communicate changes to key stakeholders • Integrate employment templates into the annual review process to ensure templates remain current • Assess existing HR processes and identify opportunities to eliminate manual effort, reduce duplication, and improve employee experience • Design and implement scalable, automated solutions in partnership with the NAM HR team • Own and manage HR knowledge articles on the company intranet • Lead all required internal and external audits, RFP responses, and reporting requirements • Coordinate the development and implementation of country-wide shared services across all HR CoEs
• A minimum of 5+ years of progressive human resources operations experience, ideally within a global matrixed company • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and a commitment to staying current as it evolves • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing HR policies, programs, and processes from end to end • Strong change management and communication skills, with the ability to bring people along through change • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in reviewing and drafting legislatively sensitive documents • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead projects through to completion without close supervision • Strategic mindset, with the ability to assess how policy changes impact systems, teams, and workflows • Ability to use data and information to make sound recommendations and resolve issues using judgment consistent with standard practices, policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable law • Experience with HRIS platforms and a genuine interest in HR technology and process automation
