📋 Description

• Design the capital stack for each data center, including construction and project debt, equity, joint ventures and LP structures • Build financial models, investment narratives and fundraising materials • Run fundraising processes with banks, private credit, infrastructure funds and strategic investors • Negotiate financing terms and close transactions • Develop relationships with lenders and investors • Work with the BD team on lease structures with neocloud and AI customers • Oversee accounting and reporting across Simple Mining and the data center business with the Head of Finance • Prepare the company for institutional capital • Partner on the employee equity plan and valuation story as the data center business moves into its own parent company • Meet founders, visit sites and learn the business and financials during the first 90 days • Present a financing plan and timeline to leadership and drive the first raise forward • Establish a clear path to funding the first data center for the board

🎯 Requirements

• Personally led and closed capital raises for capital-intensive infrastructure (data centers, power, utilities, energy or digital infrastructure) • Network of lenders, investors and LPs • Likely experience as a Director or Managing Director in investment banking, an infrastructure investor, or a finance leader at a developer • Fluency in project finance, debt structuring and investor materials • Ability to explain a capital stack clearly • Bachelor's in finance, economics or accounting required • MBA, CFA or CPA a plus, not a requirement
