📋 Description

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems, applications, and components • Write technical specifications based on conceptual designs and stated business requirements • Evaluate development progress against plans and intervene with lead developers, project managers, or management to facilitate business outcomes • Follow Agile processes, supporting short- and long-term planning, cross-functional support, and working software demonstrations • Provide detailed metrics related to turn time, workload, Kickbacks and reasons, and test coverage • Maintain knowledge of evolving platforms, programming languages, and web/database technologies • Stay current on business initiatives, infrastructure, and development architecture issues • Serve as technical expert on development projects across requirements analysis, design, and deployments • Evaluate new platforms, technologies, software products, and techniques for incorporation into company products • Make design decisions supporting reuse, componentization, extensibility, maintainability, and minimal coupling • Align development capabilities with future customer needs • Provide solutions and alternatives affecting timetables, scalability, performance, production, implementation, and technology advancement • Improve CMMI and Agile practices; create repeatable processes and controlled documentation • Assist with detailed software engineering and development plans and processes • Improve, design, or synthesize processes and software differentiating SitusAMC’s brand and services • Oversee and guide new product initiatives while ensuring architectural adherence and sound engineering decisions • Identify technology improvements that reduce development costs • Recommend actions to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness • Advise and mentor team members as an escalation point • Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or information systems preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience • Typically 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent • Solid knowledge and understanding of Object Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming • Working knowledge of .Net, C#, AWS, SQL, and Javascript • Working knowledge of software development frameworks, API integrations, RESTful Web services, and structured and unstructured databases • Experience managing UX – Human centered designs • Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or similar tools • Experience with application integration and building APIs • Experience working on Agile Scrum and DevOps aligned delivery teams • Experience developing software development estimates • Experience building software products on multiple platforms and industries • Experience developing cloud native applications and/or migrating applications to the cloud, preferably AWS • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong organization, administrative, and documentation skills • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills • Ability to manage competing demands, delays, or unexpected events • Ability to work independently and creatively, learn quickly, and solve complex problems in high-pressure situations • Adaptability to changing environments and approaches • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
