📋 Description

• Lead medium to large-scale capital projects from concept and feasibility through design, construction, commissioning, and project closeout • Develop and maintain project scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including Engineering, Operations, EHS, Finance, Procurement, R&D, and other functional stakeholders • Monitor project performance and proactively identify and address risks, issues, schedule delays, and cost variances • Champion project teams through the company's Stage Gate process • Review project business cases, scopes, cost estimates, schedules, risk assessments, and supporting documentation at key project milestones • Serve as a resource and mentor to Project Managers, Engineers, and other project team members • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to capital planning, project execution, cost management, and reporting • Facilitate effective communication between plant leadership, project teams, Finance, Engineering, and senior management • Prepare and present project updates and portfolio-level information to leadership • Provide project leadership from initial planning and budgeting through execution, commissioning, and closeout • Support planning, tracking, forecasting, and budgeting of Capital Expenditures and ensure projects progress through the Stage Gate process

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, Finance, or a related technical discipline preferred • 10+ years of experience managing capital projects in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment • Extensive working knowledge of capital project processes, including budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, and general accounting policies and procedures • Strong understanding of project cost management, forecasting, scheduling, and financial reporting • Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles • Ownership of a safe work environment for projects • Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing projects across multiple sites • Ability to travel 50-80%
