📋 Description

• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to shape the learner experience on Sophia Learning’s proprietary platform • Design, launch, and analyze A/B test strategies for product features, engagement strategies, and onboarding improvements • Analyze click-level platform, engagement, and subscription data to uncover learner behavior and retention opportunities • Define key metrics and success measures for product launches and track them over time • Interpret results to guide rollout recommendations, test iterations, and future platform enhancements • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Academics • Identify, visualize, and extract KPIs for decision-making and impactful action plans • Communicate key insights to senior leadership and create succinct data stories for technical and non-technical audiences • Build robust Power BI reports enabling teams and partners to self-serve accurate data stories and trends • Respond to ad-hoc stakeholder requests and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment • Mentor and lead junior analysts, including code development and review, Power BI reporting strategies, and consulting advice • Help shape near- and long-term strategies at Sophia Learning

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working in a consultative-style data-driven business analytics role required • 2+ years of experience working in a SaaS-based business supporting product analytics preferred • Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analysis, Data Science) or relevant work experience in a fast-paced growth industry required • Master’s degree in business-focused disciplines preferred • Ability to answer loosely defined business requests using complex datasets and statistical techniques • Proven record of client service and timely delivery of insightful projects • Strong consulting skills • Ability to balance multiple tasks with minimal supervision • Strong leadership traits and ability to train and mentor junior analysts • Advanced data manipulation and extraction techniques • Strong understanding of analytic tools and one or more programming languages • Experience querying databases and building actionable data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts • Ability to construct test designs and perform ad-hoc statistical analysis • Experience with Salesforce data and reports is a plus • Experience with Python and BigQuery is a plus • Experience with subscription-based data is a plus • Experience with platform behavior data is a plus • Must be able to travel occasionally if business needs arise • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Able to access information using a computer
