📋 Description
• Build the backend services powering Altitude, working with a team shipping real products to real businesses. • Own entire domains from architecture to production. • Real-time settlement engine reconciling on-chain and off-chain transactions • Bulk payment APIs processing thousands of transactions per second • Card issuing infrastructure with instant spend notifications • DeFi yield integration abstracting complex protocols into simple APIs
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years backend experience shipping and operating production services • Strong Rust experience (or background in Go/C++ with willingness to dive into Rust) • Proven work with gRPC & HTTP APIs, service contracts and multi-service architectures • Solid PostgreSQL and Redis skills - schema design, performance tuning, debugging • AWS (ECS) and Docker expertise - containerized services, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform • Strong engineering fundamentals - observability, testing and benchmarking • Fintech or transaction-heavy systems experience • Solana exposure (RPC clients, transactions, on-chain concepts) - bonus
