📋 Description

• Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency logging frameworks for telemetry, event, and console logs • Design, develop, and implement Clockwork features, interfaces, and optimizations with Autonomy, Cloud, and Safety teams • Identify opportunities to improve Clockwork performance, reliability, and usability while evaluating tradeoffs in resource-constrained environments • Prototype, develop, and maintain sensor interfaces driving the autonomous vehicle Perception system • Deliver high-quality software through robust automated testing and manual and automated code review • Extend the capabilities, usability, performance, and reliability of Clockwork, StackOS, and the onboard portion of Deploy Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in C++ with deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency models, lock-free data structures, and memory management • Knowledge of the software engineering life cycle and algorithm design principles • Experience developing high-performance software systems in resource-constrained environments, preferably safety-critical applications • Strong understanding of POSIX, Linux, and concurrent programming • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals • Comfortable working with and debugging embedded systems • Experience with tooling such as Bazel and Boost • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment • Performance evaluation and optimization experience highly desired • Autonomous driving, robotics, or related industry experience highly desired • Potential verification of residence, U.S. person status, and/or citizenship status due to U.S. national security and export-control requirements
