📋 Description

• Plan, document, and execute automated content migration from Drupal 9 and Drupal 10 to Drupal 11 • Develop custom Drupal modules and maintain the client's Drupal and PHP codebase • Design responsive, accessible layouts, themes, and views for desktop, tablet, and mobile using Drupal 10 and 11 • Configure Drupal modules for design and layout • Integrate pattern library and style guide tools such as Pattern Lab and kss-node with Drupal theming • Build component-driven designs supporting a wide range of content types • Develop and maintain web-based systems and responsive mobile web applications • Integrate applications with new or existing systems via APIs • Integrate Drupal sites with third-party email service providers • Ensure sites meet Section 508 and WCAG AA accessibility requirements • Conduct user experience, design validation, cross-browser, and usability testing • Improve site performance and minimize page load time • Conduct code reviews and mentor peer developers • Write clean, well-commented code • Manage work and merge code for multiple websites in Git • Perform other related duties supporting contract requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with relevant experience • U.S. citizenship • Active Public Trust or ability to obtain one • 5+ years of industry experience as a full stack Drupal developer, including technical implementation and day-to-day operations • 2+ years of professional Drupal 9 and Drupal 10 development experience • 2+ years of working experience with PHP • Experience migrating content from Drupal 9 and Drupal 10 to Drupal 11 • Advanced HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills, including grid systems, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility • Expert understanding of client-side scripting, JavaScript frameworks, asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX, including jQuery • Strong understanding of modern front-end UX techniques and back-end application design using object-oriented techniques for ORM data access, authentication, security, and API design • Deep, practical knowledge of federal web development policies and practices, including Section 508 and WCAG AA accessibility requirements • Experience with user experience testing and design validation • Portfolio of past web design work, including finished sites and wireframes/intermediate design steps • Familiarity with Twig templating engine preferred • Experience integrating Pattern Lab or kss-node with Drupal theming preferred • Advanced Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator knowledge preferred • Thorough working knowledge of Git and Git Flow preferred
