📋 Description

• Lead complex risk assessments for insured properties and operations to inform underwriting decisions • Identify potential risk exposures and formulate strategic recommendations to mitigate identified risks • Interpret and analyze loss data to identify patterns and design and implement loss prevention programs tailored to client-specific needs • Provide advanced technical guidance and conduct client training on safety practices and regulatory compliance • Monitor the effectiveness of loss control measures and make strategic adjustments as needed • Potentially oversee and coach staff and participate in talent selection, development, and performance management decisions for direct reports • Perform other duties as assigned • Service workers' compensation policyholders throughout Georgia • Conduct regular travel for on-site risk assessments, insured consultations, and policyholder injury prevention and risk management initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Safety Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience • Generally, a minimum of 13 years of experience in loss control, risk management, or a related field within the property and casualty insurance industry • Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), Certified Safety and Health Management (CSHMS), Associate Loss Control Management (ALCM) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) • Advanced analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills • Advanced knowledge of company policies and industry laws and regulations • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Results-oriented consultative skills • Ability to use data to analyze situations, identify problems, and recommend effective solutions • Ability to provide technical advice and support to lower-level positions, management, and other departments
