📋 Description

• Lead the accounting and finance function and manage the international team • Own hiring, development, performance management, and succession planning • Set structure, standards, and priorities across borders and time zones • Own end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable, payments, reconciliation, and month-end and year-end close • Establish and maintain standardized financial controls across jurisdictions • Navigate country-specific tax, payment, and compliance requirements, including Quebec-specific obligations • Lead audits and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance • Coordinate and escalate cross-border financial matters • Partner with the CFO and senior leadership on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting • Deliver financial reporting and analysis to leadership and the Board where required • Provide financial insight for commercial and strategic decision-making • Own finance tools, systems, and workflows • Lead automation and efficiency initiatives • Ensure finance systems and data are reliable, integrated, and scalable

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive finance experience at a senior manager or director level, including ownership of financial operations and controls • Proven team leadership experience, including managing managers or leads and building distributed teams • Working knowledge of Quebec financial, tax, and regulatory requirements, or substantial prior experience operating in Quebec • Demonstrated experience managing finance operations across multiple countries, currencies, and time zones • Strong technical finance judgment paired with the ability to set standards and scale process • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner with the CFO and senior leadership and represent finance across the business
