📋 Description

• Lead and drive all aspects of the Retail business for the district, including customer service, clienteling, sales, team development, and operations • Cover 8 Kate Spade stores across Outlet and Specialty locations within the territory • Ensure a consistent modern luxury store experience across district locations • Partner with the buying team to provide customer and competitor insights • Implement Kate Spade brand standards and values with the highest quality and excellence • Create and reinforce a proactive selling culture focused on long-term customer relationships • Foster service and selling priorities through training, coaching, role-modeling, and personal customer involvement • Develop teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences across the district • Plan, communicate, and delegate responsibilities to Store Leaders • Review store environments and business indicators with the Regional Manager; identify opportunities and provide coaching • Create retention and succession planning strategies • Act as a Kate Spade brand ambassador in the marketplace • Communicate vision, strategy, and clear directions to the team • Create innovative strategies for short- and long-term goals • Establish objectives with the Regional Director and cross-functional partners • Monitor fashion trends, market competition, and customer shopping behaviors • Develop and execute strategies to grow sales, clienteling, customer engagement, talent acquisition, and retention • Forecast, plan, and budget according to business needs • Manage budgets and maximize sales opportunities with District and Store Leaders • Collaborate with Visual, Merchandising, Planning, HR, LP, Finance, Store Operations, and other business partners • Provide input on assortment, planning, marketing, visual merchandising, and store environment strategies

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years management experience in a similar multi-unit retail environment; a combination of education and experience will be considered • 30% travel with this role • Proven ability to create strategies and deliver results • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with Kate Spade Senior Leadership • Pro-active problem solver; ability to assess an issue and develop action steps for resolution • Ability to think broadly, consider all perspectives on issues, and reach logical conclusions that best serve Kate Spade as a whole • Track record of attracting exceptional Talent to an organization
