📋 Description

• Provide subject-matter expertise and execute Data Retention and Disposition activities • Define and maintain retention requirements aligned to Enterprise Data Policy/Standards • Map data sets to retention schedules • Support legal hold processes and coordinate disposition workflows • Ensure compliance with EDMO Standards • Maintain knowledge of data management practices and procedures • Drive automation of data management practices • Advise and consult on projects related to implementation of data management practices • Oversee end-to-end data management practices • Conduct internal and external research projects • Track, assess, and report on data governance performance and control effectiveness

🎯 Requirements

• University or post-graduate degree; professional data management designation would be considered an asset • 10+ years of relevant experience in Data Management, Data Retention & Disposition, and Data Lifecycle Management • Solid knowledge of implementing and leading data governance and data management practices • Solid knowledge of Capital Markets data strategy, data risk management, and data lifecycle management • Knowledge of current and emerging competitors and market trends in Data Management • Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods, and reporting techniques • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently • Ability to exercise sound judgment in making decisions • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
