• Sell Teaching Strategies' full line of products and services to early childhood markets • Identify, direct, and coordinate sales opportunities with support and collaboration from internal teams • Build on established marketplace success and increase market share through a collaborative, consultative customer approach • Build, maintain, and develop expertise in products, services, and the competitive early-childhood-development landscape • Achieve defined sales revenue targets for the assigned territory • Contribute to development and implementation of a strategic territory sales plan • Uncover customer and prospect needs, build collaborative relationships, and deliver solutions • Participate in new-license, renewal, upsell, and marketing campaigns to uncover business opportunities • Qualify leads and complete or support the full sales cycle, including contacting clients, presentations, exhibits, and conferences • Manage the opportunity pipeline strategically and creatively • Use Salesforce to track pipeline information and sales progress • Maintain customer relationships and appropriately communicate customer feedback • Communicate regularly with the manager, sales team, and territory clients • Follow up on phone and email communications and document all activity • Travel strategically to clients within the assigned territory as needed • Attend occasional domestic in-person team, department, and company meetings
• 2–4 years of successful Inside Sales experience • Education and/or technology sales experience highly desired • Experience selling to private childcare organizations preferred • Experience performing market analysis and building/managing a sales pipeline • Bachelor's Degree required • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM solution highly desired • Ability to work a schedule accommodating the assigned territory • Mastery of successful selling skills, including listening, determining needs, answering questions, proposing solutions, and closing sales • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build relationships • Knowledge of educational structures and ability to sell to multiple decision makers at multiple levels a plus • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Effective organizational and presentation skills
