📋 Description

• Respond to plan inquiries and requests from clients • Assist in calculating and processing termination, retirement, and death benefits for simple plans • Support the consulting team in fostering strong client relationships • Help coordinate information flow between clients and trustees • Assist in reconciling plan assets and memberships • Support preparation of year-end annual pension statements • Assist in preparing membership and asset data for actuarial valuations • Apply and interpret basic pension benefit calculations according to plan provisions and legislative requirements • Work with pension databases to ensure data accuracy • Attend internal training sessions • Participate in client meetings and presentations • Assist with special projects supporting team goals

🎯 Requirements

• Keen interest in pension administration and desire to learn • Post-secondary education, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science, or relevant courses related to Pension Administration • Basic knowledge of Defined Benefit pension plans and provincial pension and tax legislation is an asset, but not required • Strong analytical and mathematical skills • Strong client service focus with exceptional professional acumen • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
