📋 Description

• Build production AI systems for enterprise customers at the intersection of LLMs, real-time signal processing, and enterprise decision-making • Pair initially with external AI partners to absorb their work and establish engineering patterns • Become the internal anchor for AI engineering, guiding prompt design, evaluation strategy, model selection, and agent architecture decisions • Develop statistical and ML-based detectors for portfolio signals such as velocity changes, capacity saturation, and dependency risks • Build an LLM-powered insight synthesis engine that generates actionable insights, root causes, confidence scores, and evidence chains • Design a Planning Rules compiler translating natural-language planning rules into structured parameters for a Monte Carlo scheduling engine • Create evaluation and testing frameworks, including prompt regression suites, model A/B testing infrastructure, and confidence calibration • Define MCP tools for Item Store queries, capacity lookups, and scenario simulations within a hub-and-spoke architecture • Collaborate daily with domain engineers, product managers, and designers • Write architecture decision records and production-quality code

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of shipping LLM-powered features or products used by real users • Hands-on experience orchestrating agents, including multi-step reasoning, tool use, autonomous action, and guardrails • Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalent agent frameworks • Deep LLM engineering fundamentals: prompt engineering, RAG architectures, function calling/tool use, context management, and evaluation-driven development • Production-quality engineering practices, including tests, code review, CI/CD, and observability • Experience with event-driven or streaming data systems, CDC events, and real-time pipelines • 5+ years in software engineering • 3+ years focused on AI/ML in production systems • Ability to work embedded in a product team with domain engineers, product managers, and designers • Strongly preferred: AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or GCP Vertex AI • Strongly preferred: MCP or similar tool-use/agentic frameworks • Strongly preferred: anomaly detection, time-series analysis, or statistical signal processing • Strongly preferred: confidence scoring or calibration systems for AI outputs • Strongly preferred: experience absorbing and improving work from external partners • Strongly preferred: proficiency in Kotlin or TypeScript alongside Python • Nice to have: Monte Carlo simulation, optimization algorithms, or scheduling systems • Nice to have: portfolio management, project management, or resource planning background • Nice to have: enterprise SaaS experience, including multi-tenancy, compliance, and audit trails • Nice to have: contributions to open-source AI/ML projects • Resume must be submitted in English only
