📋 Description

• Coordinate and oversee field installation activities for Thermo Systems projects • Lead day-to-day on-site installation coordination, ensuring safe, efficient execution aligned with standards and customer requirements • Reinforce safe work practices, ensure site safety-plan compliance, and escalate unsafe conditions • Verify installation workmanship, coordinate inspections, and manage punch-list creation and closure • Track installation progress against schedules and short-interval plans; identify milestone risks and drive corrective actions • Coordinate toolbox talks, trade coordination meetings, and look-ahead planning • Monitor site constraints including access, permits, shutdown windows, staging areas, and material availability • Serve as the on-site liaison with customer representatives, general contractors, construction management, third-party electrical and mechanical trades, and safety and quality representatives • Maintain version control of installation drawings and field-change documentation, including RFIs, redlines, and as-builts • Coordinate with Engineering to resolve constructability issues, clarify design intent, and communicate field conditions • Identify scope changes and support change-order development by documenting drivers and labor, material, and schedule impacts • Assist with RFIs, field clarifications, and change-support documentation • Partner with the Project Manager on execution readiness, schedule adherence, risk escalation, and change control • Provide weekly or as-required site updates covering progress, constraints, safety, quality, open issues, and milestones • Coordinate material readiness, deliveries, staging, and on-site inventory control • Support workface planning by ensuring crews have drawings, materials, tools, access, and permits • Participate in commissioning-readiness planning by ensuring installation completion, testing prerequisites, and punch-list closure

🎯 Requirements

• Background in electrical installation, industrial controls, automation, construction management, or related trade leadership • Familiarity with industrial environments such as manufacturing, process facilities, distribution, or energy • Experience coordinating third-party electrical contractors within GC-controlled job sites • Exposure to change-management processes and documentation, including RFIs, redlines, as-builts, and T&M tracking • Experience leading or coordinating field installation on industrial, controls, electrical, or construction projects • Strong working knowledge of installation practices, jobsite coordination, and trade management • Ability to manage site-safety expectations and promote a safety-first culture • Strong communication skills and comfort interfacing with customers, general contractors, and subcontractors • Strong documentation discipline, including daily logs, progress tracking, issue tracking, and drawing control • Proficiency with Teams/SharePoint or similar document repositories • Basic schedule and progress-tracking skills • Ability to undertake high travel and site-based work for assigned projects • OSHA-10/30, NCCER, or trade licensing certifications are a plus
