• Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets • Align Canadian operations with corporate goals and objectives in collaboration with senior leadership • Lead and inspire a high-performing team across functions • Ensure service delivery and financial performance for all Canadian programs • Ensure understanding of program specifications, terms and conditions, binding documents and regulations • Support Program Managers with customer program review meetings and deficiency rectification • Coordinate Canadian programs with Technical Services to maintain service levels under service-level agreements • Collaborate with Program Managers and Global Safety to ensure safe, compliant operations • Ensure compliance with Canadian regulatory requirements and industry standards • Monitor and report key performance indicators to executive leadership • Foster innovation and continuous improvement to improve service delivery and client satisfaction • Maintain relationships with Canadian military and defense-sector stakeholders • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and government agencies • Serve in an advisory role on the Airworthiness Council • Support Business Development and identify new business opportunities and partnerships in Canada • Oversee health and safety, training, mentoring and performance management • Approve timesheets, vacation requests and expense reports as applicable
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or another related field, or 15 years of comparable experience • Minimum 10 years of experience with military flight and maintenance operations as an engineer or flight crew • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience with the RCAF in aviation-related positions • Minimum 5 years of experience as a program manager within the last 10 years • Strong business acumen and demonstrated revenue growth and financial target achievement • Senior management leadership experience overseeing complex projects and large multifunctional teams • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Strategic business planning and execution ability • Knowledge of project management, flight operations supervision, aircraft maintenance, financial knowledge and budgeting • In-depth knowledge of the Canadian defense industry, policies, regulations and procurement processes • Knowledge of airworthiness processes with DND, Transport Canada and FAA • Knowledge of Controlled Goods Program, Security Management and ITAR • Knowledge of military and civilian maintenance and quality control • General knowledge of business operations and local legislation • Bilingual English/French • Regular travel required • Controlled Goods clearance and Canadian Level 2 (Secret) security clearance required
