• Lead the design and consultation processes for complex multi-modal quick build and civil reconstruction capital projects. • Oversee and support the delivery of multi-modal projects including quick-build and civil construction. • Conduct public consultations including meetings and events. • Prepare staff reports and correspondence for various audiences. • Develop Terms of Reference, scope of work, and specifications for projects.
• Post-secondary education in planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, urban design, project management, or equivalent experience. • Extensive experience in project management, coordination, and delivering projects with minimal direction. • Considerable experience in street design, active transportation design, road safety, and urban design. • Ability to deliver on demanding assignments requiring critical judgement, analytical thinking, and creativity. • Ability to supervise, monitor, mentor, and motivate other staff. • Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization. • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suites, Microstation, SketchUp, and/or ArcGIS or QGIS.
