📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert to solve problems, develop solutions, and assist program managers and business unit leaders in achieving financial, contractual, and performance goals • Report to the Senior Contracts Manager and partner with Program Managers • Research compliance issues, interpret regulations, and formulate recommendations using FAR, DFARS, and other customer regulations • Build partnerships with program leadership to understand program and contract needs • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions in assigned agreements, including with major prime contractors • Meet department metrics tracking contract value, ceilings, modifications, deliverables, and processing timeframes • Reduce risk through negotiation of key terms, assumptions, and clarifying conditions • Manage ad hoc requests • Administer complex FFP, T&M, Cost-type, IDIQ, OTA, and other agreements • Maintain diplomacy and tact with colleagues and external parties • Resolve challenges and provide reliable support to programs • Learn TSC’s business model, culture, programs, customers, and internal stakeholders • Ensure comprehensive administration of contractual commitments for the assigned portfolio • Support proposals by reviewing solicitations, developing cover letters and contract and/or cost and pricing volumes, analyzing terms and conditions, and evaluating risk • Process new awards and modifications and maintain accurate records in the Contract Management System • Prepare negotiation strategies for existing or prospective clients • Lead contract administration from requirements definition through contract close-out

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Contract Administration, or related field • 8 or more years of defense contracting experience • Successful, demonstrated full life cycle contract administration experience • US Citizenship • Possibly the ability to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance • Experience administering both prime contractor-issued subcontracts and DoD-issued prime contracts • Demonstrated knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations • Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry strongly preferred • Experience preparing cost proposals, cost narratives, and compliance matrixes • Experience with proposals requiring certified cost or pricing data and government audits strongly preferred • Business-focused, solution- and problem-solving-oriented • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word • Demonstrated knowledge of standard contract management practices preferred • Familiarity with intellectual property, data rights, and associated federal regulations preferred • Understanding of change and modification management, including impact on scope, funding, and deliverables preferred • Proficient in leveraging technology to streamline contract administration processes preferred • Experience problem solving when guidance is vague and no precedence is available preferred • Proficient with collecting and analyzing data as a basis for program/company decisions preferred • Ability to communicate effectively across the organization and with diverse teams preferred • Ability to multitask, prioritize, plan timelines, and execute multiple contracts preferred • Professional certification in Contract Management preferred • Deltek Costpoint Contract Management Module experience preferred • Microsoft SharePoint experience preferred • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, security investigation, and drug screening
