• Participate in the planning and coordination of follow-up care for clients under the care of Northern psychiatrists • Provide local management and care for patients receiving psychiatric treatment • Assist psychiatrists assigned to the community before, during and after visits to Nunavik • Promote and take part in telehealth interventions for northern patient populations
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing • Member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec (OIIQ) • Minimum of one year of experience in psychiatry • Strong clinical knowledge related to psychiatric patients • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite • Bilingualism required in two of the three languages used in Nunavik • Availability to complete required training, including stays in northern communities
• Unpaid leave of absence to work in a northern facility for up to 60 months • Potential northern allowances • Shared housing or transit accommodation if required
