📋 Description

• Lead merchandising initiatives across homepage, navigation, browse, search, course pages, hubs, recommendation modules, and promotional placements • Partner with Category Managers on content launches, priority categories, seasonal campaigns, and business initiatives • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define and enhance merchandising capabilities, including curated collections, candidate pools, business rules, personalization, and scalable tools • Design, execute, and analyze merchandising experiments • Analyze learner behavior, customer journeys, merchandising performance, and marketplace trends • Develop merchandising frameworks balancing learner needs, commercial priorities, editorial curation, and algorithmic recommendations • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Udemy and Coursera products, subscriptions, certificates, degrees, and learning experiences • Establish merchandising best practices, operating models, and measurement frameworks • Develop merchandising strategies and scalable practices with the Director of Merchandising and cross-functional partners • Optimize learner engagement, discovery, conversion, retention, expansion, and revenue growth

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field • 7+ years of experience in digital merchandising, e-commerce, category management, growth, marketplace strategy, or a related discipline • Demonstrated success developing merchandising strategies that improve learner engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue • Experience designing A/B tests, interpreting results, and translating insights into scalable improvements • Strong analytical skills using customer insights and performance data • Cross-functional experience with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Analytics, and Data Science • Strong commercial acumen • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Experience with digital analytics, experimentation, and merchandising platforms such as Amplitude, Tableau, Optimizely, Adobe Analytics, Contentful, or similar technologies
