📋 Description

• Build, lead, and grow a high-performing equipment sourcing team for SCADA and metering procurement • Hire, coach, provide professional development, and plan resources as the team scales • Own equipment financials, including forecasting, revenue, COGS, and margin targets • Develop and execute equipment sourcing strategies focused on supplier diversification, capacity, capability, and supply chain risk • Manage supplier relationships, agreements, terms and conditions, performance, payment terms, and bulk pricing negotiations • Build and improve sourcing processes across quoting, requirements flow-down, supplier selection, inventory planning, purchase order management, fulfillment, end-of-life management, and change orders • Partner with engineering to translate technical specifications and bills of materials into sourcing requirements • Incorporate supply chain cybersecurity and regulatory considerations into supplier selection • Partner with Enterprise Supply Chain on onboarding, strategic pricing, logistics, receiving, inventory, ERP enablement, corrective actions, and analytics/KPIs • Ensure consistent application of Supply Chain best practices and adherence to the Supplier Management program • Maintain market intelligence on SCADA/metering pricing, lead times, supply chain risk, and contract terms • Partner with proposal and sales teams on pricing, contracting, client feedback, and project execution • Identify, manage, and mitigate equipment delivery risk across active projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience • 10+ years of procurement and contract negotiation experience in the energy sector, spanning power delivery, process automation, protection & control, and/or renewable energy infrastructure • Prior people-leadership experience, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams • Demonstrated commercial acumen and knowledge of equipment and service supply contracts for major infrastructure projects • Proven ability to evaluate and mitigate risk related to price, schedule, and quality • Experience managing relationships with external suppliers, vendors, clients, and project stakeholders • Excellent cross-functional communication and presentation skills • Ability to resolve procurement issues affecting project schedule and budget with urgency • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment • Ability to travel as needed to meet with suppliers, vendors, and project stakeholders • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada • Must possess a valid Canadian Driver’s License and meet company driving standards • Ability to travel across the United States and Canada • Openness to innovation and ability to apply evolving technology and AI tools • EPC contracting experience preferred • Direct experience procuring SCADA, metering, or related automation and protection & control equipment preferred • Familiarity with NERC CIP or other utility supply chain cybersecurity and regulatory requirements preferred • Professional certification such as CPSM, CPM, or equivalent preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems preferred
