📋 Description

• Design, build, and modernize backend services and APIs supporting ad delivery • Work on scalable, highly available systems across Unity’s advertising ecosystem • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data teams to deliver new features • Improve performance, observability, and cost efficiency of backend systems • Modernize the legacy technology stack • Contribute to architectural decisions and the platform’s technical direction • Build real-time systems powering Unity Ads’ global advertising platform • Support ad requests, impression tracking, user data analytics, ad delivery, bidding, reporting, and analytics

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building backend services at scale • Proficiency in Golang and relational databases such as MySQL • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and observability tools such as Kubernetes and Ray • Understanding of API design, distributed systems, and system reliability • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote-first team environment • English proficiency sufficient for professional verbal and written exchanges • Experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, or real-time bidding systems • Background with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform • Familiarity with networking, caching, or real-time data pipelines • Work visa or immigration sponsorship is not available
