📋 Description

• Identify and develop new opportunities across enterprise clients in banking, insurance, fintech and professional services. • Build and execute targeted prospecting plans to break into high-value accounts. • Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, from C-suite to heads of technology, digital and transformation. • Represent Valtech at industry events, forums and roundtables—raising our profile and creating meaningful connections. • Translate client challenges, market trends and regulatory shifts into compelling value propositions. • Collaborate closely with Bid Management, the Vertical Portfolio Director and cross-functional teams to create winning proposals and pitches. • Partner with our Growth teams to shape strategic account plans and multiyear engagement opportunities. • Support our Partner Alliances team on co-sell opportunities, referrals and market intelligence. • Lead opportunity qualification—shaping win themes, advising on commercial structures, and supporting bid conversion. • Contribute to thought leadership and go-to-market initiatives that strengthen Valtech’s reputation within Financial Services. • Stay ahead of market shifts, competitor movements and emerging technologies driving digital transformation in FS.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in business development, sales or client engagement within digital consultancy, tech or transformation environments. • Proven success opening new enterprise accounts in Financial Services—banking, insurance or fintech preferred. • A hunter mindset: proactive, persistent, creative and commercially sharp. • Ability to build strong senior relationships across C-suite and leadership roles. • Strong commercial acumen with a knack for shaping value-led propositions and negotiating profitable outcomes. • Experience working with strategic technology partners or alliances. • Deep understanding of FS market trends, digital transformation drivers and industry dynamics. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident with executive audiences. • Consultative, solutions-focused approach with experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams. • Highly organised, self-motivated and accountable—someone who thrives on driving pipeline and delivering growth.
