📋 Description

• Rapidly develop new applications leveraging an existing enterprise platform • Develop highly scalable software with optimal performance • Drive development of new features and product improvements • Partner with Product Management, Design, and QA to deliver customer value • Work across multiple layers of the technology stack with a primary focus on backend development and opportunities in frontend and DevOps • Mentor junior engineering talent and contribute to team development • Own solutions, iterate rapidly, and contribute to life-sciences product innovation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java development (enterprise focus preferred) • Strong foundation in enterprise Java development • Experience in enterprise software or high-growth tech environments • Proven ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code • Hands-on experience with open source technologies: Spring, MySQL, Solr, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Mockito, Tomcat, Linux, AWS, Vagrant, Docker, Kubernetes • 3+ years of experience with relational databases and expert-level SQL skills • Demonstrated ability to mentor team members • Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States; Veeva will not provide sponsorship
