📋 Description

• Own critical backend systems ensuring scalability, availability, latency, and fault tolerance for a massively multi-tenant platform. • Design and implement a cloud-based, fully managed data plane at the core of Vendia’s real-time distributed data platform. • Build solutions that allow enterprises to integrate multi-modal data at scale. • Design, develop, and deliver customer-facing functionality enabling enterprise users to manage and share vast amounts of operational data in real time. • Implement best practices including automation, CI/CD workflows, testing and quality controls, security, and performance optimization. • Influence the vision and roadmap of Vendia’s offerings by collaborating with Product and Design teams. • Partner with leadership to balance new features with rapid customer growth and engineering excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience in distributed systems, with operational responsibility for mission-critical services. • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB) and serverless cloud architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, or equivalents on Azure/GCP). • Expert in Python or Rust. • Deep knowledge of AWS, including serverless architectures. • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and operational excellence. • Strong project planning, communication, and delivery skills. • Must be authorized to work in the United States. • Preferred: Startup or fast-paced cloud environment experience. • Preferred: Knowledge of Apache Iceberg, distributed ledger technologies, or LLM / AI agent integrations. • Preferred: Knowledge of AWS Glue is a plus.
