📋 Description

• Own end-to-end reconciliation of deferred revenue and contract asset balances • Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly deferred revenue and contract asset roll-forward schedules • Determine contract balance sheet classification between contract assets and deferred revenue • Record and review revenue transactions in compliance with ASC 606 and company policies • Perform monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis • Ensure revenue cut-off and completeness across customer accounts and service lines • Investigate and resolve differences between billing, revenue subledger, and general ledger systems • Partner with billing, collections, and systems teams to maintain data integrity • Perform technical accounting reviews of new and modified customer contracts • Evaluate multi-element deals, contract modifications, variable consideration, and bundled offerings • Prepare technical accounting memos for significant or non-standard arrangements • Advise sales, legal, and deal desk teams on revenue recognition implications • Coordinate with external auditors on technical revenue matters • Support SOX controls and prepare reconciliation evidence • Identify trends and anomalies and escalate findings with supporting analysis • Assist with financial reporting schedules, audit support, and audit requests • Assist in developing and documenting revenue recognition policies • Complete ad hoc special projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field – or equivalent (Required) • 3+ years relevant work experience (Required) • Excellent analytical skills for financial analysis • Knowledge of SEC regulatory agency reporting requirements and standards • Knowledge of internal controls and SOX requirements • Ability to translate large, raw datasets into audit-ready, GAAP-compliant financial information • Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and its application to SaaS/technology revenue arrangements • Ability to distinguish and properly account for contract assets versus deferred revenue under ASC 606 • Ability to evaluate complex, multi-element contracts and apply revenue recognition judgment • Familiarity with healthcare IT industry dynamics, including EHR, RCM, and payer interface/connectivity solutions • Ability to manage high contract and customer volume • Visa sponsorship is not offered • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada
