• Develops a sales strategy and pipeline to sell professional services offerings by Veregy and its subsidiaries and achieve minimum annual sales targets. • Builds and owns market strategies for obtaining and closing new business opportunities including competitive analysis and vertical/horizontal market strategies. • Delivers a solid pipeline resulting in meeting or exceeding set sales revenue expectations each fiscal year. • Analyzes potential clients and project opportunities considering changing market conditions. • Works independently and as part of the sales team to obtain new project opportunities. • Delivers client-focused messaging regarding the client’s business, Veregy’s value proposition, and deliverables. • Partners and collaborates with internal and external resources to ensure planning, presentations, and sales deliverables meet timelines and requirements. • Utilizes Salesforce CRM and other tools to track and document sales opportunities; acts as single point of contact from initial sales cycle through handoffs. • Provides support to customers regarding projects, financing, and contracting issues; prepares presentations, accurate estimates, quality proposals, and fee estimates with technical and marketing support. • Engages in market organizations and conferences to build brand awareness and business opportunities; travels and networks with clients and prospective clients (including dinners, outings).
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or three+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Must have a minimum of fifteen years’ experience as an Sales Account Manager. • Familiarity and knowledge of facility systems, large project sales processes, and funding alternatives. • Must have a proven record of selling a minimum of $10M per year. • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills. • Fifteen+ years’ experience in the ESCO industry (Energy Services) is required or preferred. • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Must have proven ability to maintain and grow relationships with clients. • Must be willing to travel a minimum of 50% of the time. • Knowledge (Intermediate to advanced) of various operating systems, software products (e.g. MS Office, etc.). • Computer software proficiency including Microsoft Project, Viewpoint, RS Means, Trimble Estimating and/or other job-related hardware and software applications. • Utilizes the SalesForce CRM platform and other tools to track and document sales opportunities. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients; read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and technical documents; write presentations, articles, routine reports, proposals, and correspondence. • Valid driver’s license required. • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
