📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, quality assurance, and executive direction for all clinical services. • Oversee clinical quality, service delivery, clinical risk, regulatory compliance, documentation, treatment planning, client outcomes, clinical performance, and corrective action. • Lead quality assurance, performance improvement, and clinical policy development. • Supervise and develop Clinical Supervisors and other clinical leaders, including consultation on complex or high-risk clinical matters. • Design, build, implement, evaluate, and continuously improve the 16-month clinical apprenticeship and workforce-development infrastructure. • Create the weekly apprenticeship curriculum, learning objectives, competencies, instructional content, applied activities, supervision expectations, milestones, deliverables, facilitator guides, training manuals, assessments, tracking systems, and remediation procedures. • Direct daily clinical operations, staffing capacity, assignments, supervision structures, escalation processes, productivity, caseload management, service access, documentation timeliness, and operational performance. • Collaborate on clinician recruitment, onboarding, performance management, retention, and workforce planning. • Use clinical, workforce, utilization, operational, partnership, and financial data to identify trends, resolve barriers, recommend improvements, and produce executive-level reports. • Serve as the senior clinical liaison with school districts, state agencies, healthcare organizations, government entities, referral partners, grant partners, and other stakeholders. • Lead clinical implementation of new contracts, programs, districts, grants, and service lines. • Develop partner engagement and improvement plans and resolve partner concerns. • Participate in executive leadership, organizational planning, strategic decision-making, and scalable clinical-systems development. • Assist with clinical budgets, staffing investments, training resources, apprenticeship expenditures, and assigned organizational resources. • Serve as the CEO’s designee for day-to-day clinical operations and assigned partnership, implementation, and clinical leadership matters. • Mentor, coach, evaluate, and develop Clinical Supervisors and emerging clinical leaders. • Establish performance expectations, leadership-development and succession plans, and a culture of innovation, ethical practice, continuous improvement, and exceptional client care.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health discipline. • Current unrestricted professional license in Virginia (LPC, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, LMFT, or equivalent). • Must meet applicable Virginia requirements to provide or become approved to provide clinical supervision in the candidate’s professional discipline. • Board-approved supervisor status at the time of hire is required. • Minimum 8 years of progressive clinical experience. • Minimum 5 years in a Director-level clinical leadership role. • Minimum 3 years supervising licensed behavioral health professionals. • Experience directing clinical programs or behavioral health departments. • Experience managing external partnerships and implementing behavioral health services in school systems, healthcare organizations, government programs, community behavioral health settings, or comparable institutional environments. • Experience leading organizational change and program implementation. • Experience developing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives. • Experience managing multiple clinicians across multiple programs. • Experience designing structured clinical training, professional development, workforce education, apprenticeship, residency, or competency-based learning programs. • Experience managing complex, multi-phase projects with defined timelines, deliverables, performance measures, and stakeholder accountability. • Must reside in Virginia and be eligible to work remotely in the U.S.
