📋 Description

• Investigate card disputes and unauthorized transaction claims • Evaluate transaction data, authentication methods including 3DS, Apple Pay, and Chip & PIN, and digital footprints • Distinguish true fraud from friendly fraud and commercial disputes • File accurate chargebacks under Visa/Mastercard dispute rules • Determine when and how liability shifts apply • Communicate directly with clients about the dispute lifecycle and missing funds • Manage expectations regarding card network timelines and provide empathetic, clear updates • Manage multiple card disputes while adhering to internal and regulatory case-closure SLAs • Participate in weekly calibration sessions with peers • Share findings and identify card-testing (BIN) attacks and merchant scams

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of direct fraud or disputes experience • Experience specifically touching card chargebacks, Visa/Mastercard network rules, or transaction monitoring is a massive asset • Demonstrated understanding of fraud management frameworks, controls, and prevention systems within the financial services and payments space • Ability to collect, organize, and analyze datasets with precision and accuracy • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • High attention to detail • Ability to analyze authorization data, IP addresses, device IDs, and entry modes • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, Monday through Sunday between 8:00 AM and 8:30 PM EST • Legally eligible to work in Canada
