📋 Description

• Own company and people search end to end, including data ingestion, transformation, querying, ranking, and relevance • Improve the reliability and relevance of the existing search system • Rebuild the search system over time as appropriate • Design and build search capabilities such as identifying high-growth companies, surfacing recent job changers, and matching precise company profiles • Collaborate with the CTO and engineering team on long-term architecture decisions for search and data scalability • Build search agents using LLMs to make results smarter and more useful

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including owning or leading search initiatives end to end • Hands-on production experience with Elasticsearch or a similar engine such as Lucene or Solr • Interest in search, data, and LLMs • Exceptional problem-solving skills • Ability to ship quickly in a fast-paced startup • Ability to work independently and own a domain • Nice to have: experience with entity resolution and de-duplication • Nice to have: strong UX and usability skills • Nice to have: production experience with Postgres • Nice to have: production experience with vector search and semantic retrieval • Nice to have: proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript
