📋 Description

• Translate product ideas, data models, and company vision into durable architectures whose core design remains sound as requirements evolve. • Jumpstart high-complexity features or systems end-to-end and hand them off once patterns are established and clearly documented. • Guide teams through decisions on reliability, performance, schema evolution, observability, AI integration, and scale. • Influence without authority — shaping engineering culture, mentoring senior engineers, and raising the organizational bar. • Unblock teams by diagnosing issues across full-stack boundaries (Blazor to API to Postgres to data pipelines). • Mentor senior engineers and elevate engineering culture through clarity, documentation, and example. • Partner closely with product, design, CTO, data, and AI/ML teams to shape roadmap and feasibility. • Apply AI/ML concepts to improve automation, personalization, data quality, and developer experience.

🎯 Requirements

• BSCS or equivalent engineering degree • 12+ years of strong professional development experience • Demonstrated ownership of large-scale .NET / ASP.NET systems whose architecture, performance, and evolution you were personally responsible for over time • Strong ASP.NET Blazor UI experience and genuine enthusiasm for front-end craftsmanship • Deep expertise with Postgres, database performance tuning, schema design, and ORMs (especially EF Core) • Proven ability to design, scale, and evolve enterprise-grade systems and distributed architectures • Track record of technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-team influence • Ability to operate independently, set direction, and drive execution in ambiguous contexts • Broad systems thinking with depth in multiple technical domains • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and ability to apply them responsibly in product development • Startup mindset — adaptability, urgency, pragmatism, and comfort shifting between strategy and hands-on execution.
