📋 Description

• Reimagine and implement the future of technology for the music industry • Work as part of a dynamic and highly effective team • Own features through the full development lifecycle: design, creation, testing, deployment, and maintenance • Implement maintainable, high-quality, reliable solutions that scale with business growth • Learn and grow through collaboration with team members and engineering leaders • Build and enhance Sodatone’s AI- and machine-learning-powered analytics platform for identifying and evaluating emerging music talent • Use data from streaming services, social media, and other sources to support A&R teams with artist identification, trend tracking, talent scouting, and artist development decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or related field • 4+ years of backend or full-stack development experience • Ability to source, extract, and integrate disparate data from the open web using unconventional methods • Strong debugging skills • Solid understanding of testing, monitoring, and incident management • Knowledge of AWS or other large cloud computing environments • Strong understanding of APIs, backend services, databases, data pipelines, and data warehousing • High sense of ownership and drive to deliver impact in a fast-paced, evolving, ambiguous environment • Drive to grow, learn, and master software development • Experience with Ruby on Rails, Postgres, TimescaleDB, Snowflake, TypeScript, React, React Native, and AWS is a plus but not mandatory
