📋 Description

• Plan, execute, and support quality assurance activities across healthcare-related IT applications and projects • Develop and maintain manual and automated test cases • Perform functional, integration, regression, connectivity, performance, and automation testing • Support User Acceptance Testing in collaboration with business stakeholders • Review project and release requirements and conduct gap analysis • Identify and track defects • Prepare testing and defect reports • Ensure applications meet defined quality, security, privacy, and government IT standards • Perform database and SQL validation • Collaborate with project and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle • Participate in quality review and status meetings • Develop user documentation and procedures • Support training and knowledge transfer for other QA resources

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of QA and software testing experience • Functional, performance, connectivity, regression, integration, and automation testing • 10+ years of QA and system testing methodologies and best practices • 8+ years of experience with data confidentiality, client privacy, database and application security • Advanced SQL experience in a QA environment • Performance testing using JMeter or similar tools • Automation testing using SOAPUI or similar tools • Experience with HP Quality Center, HP WebInspect, or similar QA tools • User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case/script execution, defect reporting, and resolution tracking • QA frameworks and Waterfall, Water Scrum, and Agile methodologies • Database upgrades and database comparison tools such as SQL Data Examiner • Experience with Provincial Healthcare and Electronic Health Records (EHR) applications in a Canadian context • Strong written and verbal English communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams, business users, and QA teams • Experience developing test cases, defect reports, testing documentation, and QA deliverables • Experience performing requirements review and gap analysis • Ability to support knowledge transfer and train other QA resources
