📋 Description

• Design, develop, configure, and enhance IBM Datacap applications • Develop and maintain Datacap rulesets, tasks, actions, document hierarchies, workflows, validation rules, and verification processes • Configure and optimize OCR, document recognition, classification, data extraction, field validation, image processing, and batch processing • Develop reusable Datacap components and custom actions/extensions • Implement business rules for document processing, routing, validation, and exception handling • Install, configure, administer, and maintain IBM Datacap environments • Support Datacap Server, Rulerunner, Datacap Studio, and Datacap Navigator • Manage Development, Test, QA, UAT, and Production environments • Monitor application health, queues, logs, throughput, and performance • Troubleshoot failed batches, Rulerunner failures, OCR issues, extraction errors, workflow failures, connectivity problems, and performance issues • Perform patching, upgrades, configuration management, and environment migrations • Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, sprint planning, development, testing, deployment, and production support • Translate business requirements and user stories into Datacap technical solutions • Participate in architecture and technical design discussions, effort estimation, release planning, code reviews, and peer reviews • Support functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing • Troubleshoot defects and implement permanent fixes • Support releases and post-deployment stabilization • Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, databases, file-based interfaces, enterprise content repositories, business applications, and workflow platforms • Integrate Datacap with IBM FileNet P8 and IBM Content Navigator where applicable • Handle database lookups, metadata mapping, document/metadata exports, API data exchange, retries, error handling, audit logging, and exception management • Develop and support custom Datacap components using C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, REST, and SOAP • Work within secure enterprise and federal government environments • Support NIST, FISMA, federal information security controls, secure software development, IAM/RBAC, audit logging, vulnerability remediation, application security, PII protection, and change/configuration management • Support Git/source control and CI/CD, automated deployment, build/release management, configuration management, branching, deployment automation, monitoring, and incident management

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on IBM Datacap experience • Strong IBM Datacap 9.x / 9.1.x • Strong Datacap Studio development • Strong Rulerunner administration and development • Experience developing Datacap rulesets, workflows, tasks, and actions • Strong understanding of document capture/intelligent document processing • Experience with OCR, classification, extraction, validation, and verification • Enterprise Datacap administration experience • Strong production troubleshooting experience • Datacap integration with databases and enterprise systems • Strong SQL • REST and/or SOAP integration experience • Windows Server and IIS • Strong root-cause analysis and troubleshooting skills • Agile application/product development experience • Strong written and verbal communication • Preferred: IBM FileNet P8, IBM Content Navigator, C#/.NET, custom Datacap action development, Java/JavaScript, SQL Server/Oracle/DB2, federal government IT, FISMA/NIST, DevSecOps, CI/CD, enterprise application integration, sensitive/PII data handling, and experience building new enterprise products
