📋 Description

• Run the monthly close for several entities in QuickBooks Online, including bank and exchange reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany due to/due from tie-outs, and eliminations for the consolidated package • Maintain crypto subledgers by importing and validating exchange and on-chain transaction data and reconciling balances to source • Reconcile trading and liquidity activity across CEX accounts, perpetual venues such as Hyperliquid, and DeFi LP positions on Solana and EVM chains • Produce P&L and rollforward schedules • Set up and maintain charts of accounts for new entities and business lines • Prepare monthly retainer and revenue share invoices and maintain Excel billing trackers • Support entity structuring, intercompany loans, capital contributions and distributions, and related party transaction accounting • Help prepare annual filings and tax workpapers, including BVI financial returns and federal tax memos • Assemble KYB packages, member and manager registers, and documentation for banks, brokers and institutional partners • Help maintain AML/OFAC program documentation and coordinate responses to regulatory and law enforcement records requests • Support HR and payroll operations in Rippling, including deduction setups, payroll corrections and contractor tracking • Build and maintain Excel and Google Sheets models, including amortization schedules, loan workbooks, portfolio trackers and deal models

🎯 Requirements

• Ideally 5+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in crypto or digital assets • CPA, or actively working toward it • Familiarity with digital asset accounting, including wallets, token transfers, swaps and perpetuals • Working understanding of DeFi, including liquidity pools, AMMs, lending protocols and staking, and their accounting treatment • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and at least one crypto subledger • Strong Excel skills, including INDEX/MATCH, dropdown-driven models and reconciliations • Comfort with multi-entity and intercompany accounting, including related party considerations under GAAP • Ability to exercise judgment on escalation and communicate clearly verbally and in writing • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities • Nice to have: experience with crypto subledger platforms such as TRES, Koinly and Breezing • Nice to have: experience with entity structuring, intercompany arrangements and offshore entities • Nice to have: exposure to BVI or other offshore entity reporting • Nice to have: scripting ability with Python or Apps Script • Nice to have: experience with Rippling or another EOR/payroll platform
