📋 Description

• Support the design, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of software systems • Assist with system modifications, implementation, testing, error correction, security management, data import/export, and basic reporting • Collaborate with senior team members, business partners, clinical teams, operational teams, and IT teams • Coordinate project scope, deliverables, schedules, milestones, meetings, documentation, risks, and issues • Provide classroom, one-on-one, and remediation training and ongoing end-user systems support • Develop training content and assess user readiness • Support MyChart, EpicCare Link, and Care Everywhere initiatives • Assist with coordination and execution of digital experience strategy and initiatives • Develop and implement solutions to improve patient and employee digital experiences • Monitor emerging trends and technologies in Epic and digital health • Define and track metrics for digital experience initiatives • Travel to WVUHS facilities or affiliated sites as needed for implementations, training, or support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field OR two (2) years of relevant experience • Relevant certifications and/or proficiencies may be required, with a target completion within 90 days following formal training • Experience in applicable business, clinical, imaging, or web application systems, including advanced workflows • Proficiency in systems administration • Experience in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings • Understanding of HL7, FHIR, and DICOM • Knowledge of cloud-based healthcare applications and web services • Knowledge of reporting tools • Ability to analyze business needs and document functional specifications • Foundational troubleshooting and testing skills • Written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
