📋 Description

• Travel to focus properties to lead leasing efforts • Serve as a subject matter expert in tactical leasing, training, support, and sales direction • Drive high-volume leasing efforts and maximize occupancy at focus properties • Act as the primary leasing driver at underperforming properties • Engage prospects, conduct property tours, close deals, process applications, and finalize lease agreements • Train and mentor leasing teams through demonstrations, role-playing, and real-time coaching • Analyze market conditions, rental trends, and competitor strategies • Provide insights to adjust pricing, concessions, and marketing tactics • Implement tailored leasing strategies aligned with occupancy and revenue objectives • Optimize digital and in-person marketing, social media engagement, and referral programs • Ensure best-in-class service for prospective and current residents • Oversee leasing office and model unit readiness • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and operational procedures • Hold property teams accountable for leasing goals while fostering a results-driven culture • Travel nationwide up to 90%, often remaining on-site for two to three weeks • Support special leasing projects, high-priority lease-ups, and urgent property needs • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Hospitality, Real Estate, or a related field preferred but not required • Relevant industry certifications such as National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) or Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) are a plus • Strong track record of high-performance leasing and sales success may be considered in place of formal education • Commitment to continuous learning in leasing strategies, sales techniques, and property management best practices • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in student housing leasing • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, high-volume leasing environment, consistently exceeding occupancy and revenue goals • Strong background in sales techniques, lead conversion, and closing leases • Understanding of leasing operations, Fair Housing laws, and compliance best practices within the student housing or multifamily industry • Ability to analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and local demand • Experience coaching and mentoring leasing professionals • Skilled in digital marketing, social media, and grassroots outreach • Ability to manage leasing workflows, reporting, and data accuracy • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, property teams, and leadership • Comfortable with extensive travel up to 90% and able to quickly integrate into diverse property teams • Ability to identify challenges and implement solutions in high-pressure situations
