📋 Description

• Develop a deep understanding of company goals and initiatives; cascade these to the team and individual level • Manage individual performance, goal-setting, and performance plans • Provide motivation, coaching, training, and developmental opportunities to team members • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and weekly team meetings • Perform monthly audits and provide just-in-time coaching on performance gaps • Identify training needs and facilitate onboarding and continuous learning sessions • Create an inspiring team environment with open communication • Establish relationships within the Sales leadership team and communicate updates and feedback to management • Set team objectives and oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring SLA and goal completion • Manage staffing plans and resource coverage • Manage and oversee client escalations • Handle renewal insurance leads • Assess potential clients' coverage needs • Improve the customer journey and customer satisfaction measured through Net Promoter Score • Identify and coach staff to create cross-sell opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Valid provincial broker's license required; RIBO preferred • 5+ years of insurance experience, commercial preferred • 1+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience • Persistence and agility to meet set targets consistently • Attention to detail and demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple stakeholders and clients at a time • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage complex conversations • CAIB or CIP designation is an asset
