📋 Description

• Act as security owner for Heartbeat AI GmbH, the software company within the 1KOMMA5° group • Lead Team Trust within the Core Platforms domain • Serve as the security point of contact for the technology organization and wider group • Lead team direction, hiring, growth, health, and mentoring • Protect cloud infrastructure, applications, and connected hardware in customers' homes • Own cybersecurity frameworks and regulations applicable to energy companies • Scale internal permissions and secure development through identity and access management • Build security capabilities that developers use by default • Translate security risk for non-technical decision-makers, including C-level stakeholders • Build the security team and security framework while remaining hands-on with the technology

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in security engineering or security leadership • Experience leading or mentoring engineers • Technical background in cloud security, preferably Google Cloud Platform • Depth in infrastructure, CI/CD, identity, and application security • Experience building a security framework from scratch or close to it with limited initial resources • Familiarity with NIST CSF and ISO 27001 • Ideally, familiarity with NIS2 and KRITIS • Strong communication skills and ability to explain security risk to engineers, product managers, and senior business stakeholders • Pragmatic, outcome-oriented approach • Excellent English communication skills • German is a plus • Hands-on coding experience is a bonus • Experience with security in AI-assisted engineering setups, including agentic workflows and guardrails, is a bonus • Experience running or coordinating security incident response is a bonus • Experience with security and IT controls in a company preparing for a public listing is a bonus • Experience in a scale-up environment with roughly 100 to 1000 employees is a bonus • Interest in climate tech and renewable energy is a bonus
