📋 Description

• Independently manage the reductions process from assignment through settlement completion. • Negotiate hospital liens, hospital bills, medical provider balances, and other medical expenses to maximize client recoveries. • Verify PIP benefits, insurance coverage, and provider balances. • Apply effective negotiation strategies to increase clients' net settlement proceeds. • Monitor reductions and proactively resolve delays. • Prepare and/or review settlement statements and closing documentation. • Verify settlement calculations and disbursement accuracy. • Coordinate final settlement documentation. • Maintain accurate case documentation in Litify. • Contact clients upon assignment. • Explain the reductions and settlement process. • Provide proactive client updates at least every two weeks. • Respond promptly to client questions.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Plaintiff Personal Injury Reductions Specialist, Closing Specialist, Settlement Specialist, or similar role within a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm. • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal). • Experience independently negotiating: Hospital liens, Hospital bills, Medical provider balances, Medical bills • Experience managing the complete reductions lifecycle from assignment through settlement. • Experience preparing or reviewing settlement statements. • Experience coordinating settlement disbursements. • Experience communicating with clients, providers, insurance carriers, and lienholders. • Experience working in a KPI-driven, high-volume environment. • Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
