📋 Description

• Advocate for the customer experience throughout the development lifecycle • Design comprehensive test strategies for complex product features and platform services • Identify risks early and raise quality concerns before issues reach production • Write and maintain high-quality test cases covering real-world usage scenarios • Perform root cause analysis and clearly communicate the impact of defects • Validate APIs, integrations, and distributed services • Test data pipelines, system workflows, and multi-step product flows • Ensure correctness of integrations with third-party systems and internal services • Validate data integrity across relational systems and application workflows • Test security-sensitive functionality such as permissions, access control, and document sharing • Evaluate system performance, reliability, and edge-case behavior • Help define and improve quality engineering standards and processes • Collaborate with developers and automation engineers to identify high-value automation opportunities • Contribute to test automation strategies across smoke, regression, and release validation • Track and report on quality metrics and help reduce production defects • Mentor and support junior quality engineers • Participate in design discussions to improve testability and reliability • Serve as a subject matter expert in quality practices for complex SaaS systems • Contribute to continuous improvement across the engineering organization

🎯 Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in software quality engineering • Experience testing complex SaaS applications or distributed systems • Strong experience with API testing (REST, webhooks, or similar) • Strong SQL skills for validating data and system state • Experience testing integrations, workflows, or data pipelines • Experience working in cloud environments (AWS or similar) • Proficiency with Linux and command-line tools for debugging and log analysis • Familiarity with Python, Shell, or similar scripting languages • Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Qase, or similar) • Experience working in Agile development environments • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
