📋 Description

• Create, maintain, and execute automated tests for RESTful and GraphQL APIs, validating contracts and integrations with the Java back end • Develop automated end-to-end (E2E) and regression tests for web applications using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium • Participate in Product Discovery activities with the Product Owner • Analyze User Stories, define acceptance criteria, and map functional, regression, BDD, sanity, and performance testing scenarios • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins • Log, track, and provide evidence for bugs in Jira • Collaborate with developers to ensure defects are resolved • Create and manage test data sets for complex workflows involving orders, customers, and inventory, including integrations with SAP

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience as a QA Engineer or Test Engineer, with a focus on test automation • Experience automating and validating REST and GraphQL APIs using RestAssured, Postman, Karate, or Newman • Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver for web test automation • Knowledge of Java or JavaScript/TypeScript for developing automation scripts • Knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data in PostgreSQL and Oracle • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin), Jira, and Git • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and applying Shift-Left Testing practices • Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education • Preferred: experience with load and performance testing using JMeter, k6, or Gatling • Preferred: knowledge of asynchronous architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ • Preferred: CTFL (ISTQB), CTFL-AT (Agile Tester), or equivalent certifications • Preferred: experience in consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, or SAP-integrated environments
