📋 Description

• Engage in non-promotional scientific exchange with medical experts • Build long-term scientific relationships with hospitals, centers, and networks • Analyze the regional treatment landscape and identify scientific questions and medical needs • Derive priorities for territory planning • Gather and scientifically evaluate Medical and Field Insights, incorporating them into the medical strategy • Support the introduction of innovative treatment options from a medical-scientific perspective • Initiate and oversee medical-scientific projects • Support studies, research activities, and collaboration with selected centers • Plan medical education activities, scientific presentations, advisory boards, and other scientific exchange formats • Represent AbbVie at medical congresses • Work closely with Medical colleagues and relevant in-field functions • Maintain medical independence and comply with applicable requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Completed university degree in medicine or a natural science • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or Medical Affairs as a Medical Science Liaison is preferred • Experience in oncology or hemato-oncology is preferred • Scientific and/or clinical experience in multiple myeloma is highly desirable • Ability to critically evaluate complex clinical data and communicate it clearly • Experience implementing scientific projects • Confident communication in clinical, scientific, and cross-functional environments • Fluent communication skills in German and English • Willingness to travel • PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification is an advantage
