📋 Description

• Represent AbbVie Medical Affairs as an Oncology subject matter expert for the assigned territory • Build professional and credible relationships with external experts and healthcare professionals • Serve as a Medical Affairs point of contact for external experts within the assigned geographic area • Develop and execute scientific interaction plans and cycle plans • Contribute to cross-functional account planning while retaining functional independence • Tier and segment external experts and document healthcare professional interactions and insights in Veeva CRM and related systems • Maintain AbbVie’s medical and scientific presence in key academic centers • Facilitate research and educational initiatives and support requests for medical and scientific information • Deliver scientific update presentations to sales, marketing, and Affiliate Brand Team members • Collaborate cross-functionally with in-field members • Develop therapy advocates through continuous scientific engagement • Initiate, oversee, and follow up on GMA studies and medical projects • Support prioritized interventional studies with study initiation visits and subject matter expertise • Facilitate investigator-initiated study ideas and support requests • Deliver scientific presentations to physicians and thought leaders • Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences • Develop summaries of key data and scientifically relevant information for AbbVie priorities • Assist with named-patient or compassionate-use access requests for AbbVie medicines • Provide scientific and technical support for scientific and medical publications • Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, policies, and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates with MBBS and MD are (Preferable) • Candidates with an undergraduate degree with relevant years of experience within oncology may be considered • MDS/BDS/Pharm. D graduates with at least 4 years of experience as MSL in oncology therapy area can be considered • Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and the role of Medical Affairs • Demonstrated expertise in scientific methods applied to clinical research and current legislative/regulatory controls is an added advantage • Ability to comprehensively learn about new subject areas and environments • Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills • Ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with thought leaders, physicians, and healthcare decision makers • Strong commitment to compliance with relevant rules and procedures, and to scientific quality and integrity
