• Build and continuously develop trusted scientific relationships with investigators, medical experts, potential study sites, and scientific institutions across Germany • Conduct non-promotional scientific discussions on diseases, treatment options, and AbbVie’s pipeline • Support clinical development programmes by collaborating with study sites and addressing screening and recruitment challenges • Contribute to country and site feasibility assessments and study-site and expert selection • Collaborate with Clinical Site Monitoring, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and other global and local functions • Plan and deliver scientific exchange formats, medical education activities, advisory boards, congress contributions, and scientific presentations • Gather and evaluate medical and field insights and feed them into pipeline and medical-strategy development • Identify opportunities for scientific collaborations, new assets, innovative treatment approaches, and research projects • Communicate information about investigational products and compounds in development in accordance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements
• Successfully completed university degree in medicine, pharmacy, or the natural sciences • Doctorate or comparable advanced qualification is an advantage • Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in Medical Affairs • Experience in psychiatry is strongly preferred • Good understanding of clinical research and development, scientific methodologies, and current regulatory requirements • Ability to critically assess complex clinical data and scientific concepts and communicate them effectively • Scientific integrity and strong communication skills • Independent, structured, and cross-functional working style • Fluent German and English communication skills • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Germany, up to approximately 75%
