📋 Description

• Design and build high-performance services: Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs powering core insurance services • Own delivery at system level: Lead microservices and larger system components end-to-end • Contribute to technical direction: Provide input on technology choices and design patterns • Mentor and elevate the team: Coach mid-level and junior engineers • Champion engineering excellence: Establish and enforce best practices • Lead in production: Act as a senior escalation point for complex incidents • Ensure compliance and security: Embed security policies into design decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of backend development experience • 5+ years working with Golang in production • Proven track record designing and evolving gRPC and REST-based APIs at scale • Expert-level understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes • Strong experience with PostgreSQL and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) • Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers • Regular use of AI tools for automation • Excellent English communication skills
