📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of 3–6 engineers through regular 1:1s and feedback sessions • Conduct technical interviews, make hiring decisions, and onboard new team members • Provide technical guidance through code reviews and pair programming • Contribute to architectural decisions shaping the Acture platform • Design, build, and ship backend and frontend features • Collaborate with the VP Engineering to define features and improve user experience • Ensure high-quality releases through testing and QA • Maintain and improve a clean, efficient, and sustainable codebase

🎯 Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering • Strong full-stack expertise in Ruby on Rails • Bachelor-level thinking and working ability • Strong understanding of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL • Understanding of MVC frameworks and TDD • Experience with REST APIs, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies • Proven formal or informal leadership experience, including mentoring, onboarding, or technical guidance • Passion for clean, maintainable code and thorough testing practices • Strong communication skills • Fluency in English at C1+ level
