📋 Description

• Perform monthly and quarterly controlling routines, including data collection, plausibility checks, and report updates • Own and develop financial templates and reporting frameworks • Monitor actuals versus budget, analyze deviations, and recommend corrective actions • Lead financial handover from planning phase to active project start • Compile budget baselines, cost plans, funding overviews, and cashflow projections • Coordinate with project managers and leads to transfer financial assumptions • Prepare and maintain documentation for public and private funding programmes • Track approved amounts, disbursement schedules, and eligible costs • Reconcile estimated funding income against actual receipts and calculate correction cashflows • Conduct ongoing project controlling for active game development titles • Prepare project status reports and variance analyses • Drive cost allocation and assign expenses to projects and cost centers

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in controlling, finance, or accounting • Solid understanding of budgeting, cost accounting, and cashflow planning • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize without close supervision • Solid Excel skills, including working with templates, identifying formula errors, and building calculation structures • Strong attention to data consistency and detail • Ability to verify multi-step financial calculations independently • Structured approach to presenting documents to non-finance stakeholders • Experience communicating financial results and risks clearly to non-finance stakeholders and management • German required for German-language financial documents, funding requirements, official communication, and internal stakeholders • Very good English skills required
