📋 Description

• Write optimized queries for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data in relational databases • Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI for different stakeholders • Investigate trends, anomalies, and patterns in data to generate business insights • Document data transformations, business logic, and implemented processes • Validate data integrity and implement tests in dbt pipelines • Collaborate with business teams to address ad hoc analysis requests • Turn data into actionable insights to support Afya’s strategic decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field • Proficiency in writing complex queries • Ability to create functional dashboards and reports with basic DAX measures in Power BI • Ability to structure problems and translate requirements into data solutions • Meticulous accuracy in analysis and process documentation • Basic knowledge of Git for code version control in dbt repositories • Hands-on experience developing dbt transformations, models, tests, and documentation (preferred) • Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar (preferred) • Knowledge of Python for data processing scripts (preferred) • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices in data pipelines (preferred) • Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or dbt Cloud (preferred) • Knowledge of statistics and mathematics applied to data (preferred) • Experience with Agile methodologies (preferred) • Technical English reading and writing skills (preferred) • Completed higher education degree or currently pursuing a degree • Portfolio or GitHub projects demonstrating proficiency in SQL, dbt, and Power BI • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools • Clear communication and effective collaboration with other teams
